✔ Professional Biography

Dr.Manju S.Nair is Professor of Economics and Honorary Director, Centre for Agroecology and Public Health, Department of Economics University of Kerala and specialised in Macro Economics, Econometrics, Agroecology, Public Health and Decentralised Governance and Public Policy.   She has authored eight books, several policy documents and numerous papers.  She has undertaken collaborative studies with NABARD, Norwegian University of Life Sciences and European Union. Currently she is the Nodal Officer for Concurrent Evaluation of National Food Security Act for the States of Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep. She is a gold medalist for her graduation and post graduation from the University of Kerala and has additional Masters degree in English Language and Literature and Financial Management. With twenty seven years of teaching and research experience she has produced twelve Ph.Ds and twenty five MPhil degrees. She has bagged the best project award for 2021 and highest research grant award for 2021 and 2022 instituted by the University of Kerala. Centre for Agroecology and Public Health has been selected as the Nodal Office for the conduct of Social Audit of Public Distribution System by Government of Kerala.
